Besides being very close to San Gimignano, Podere Montese is situated in an area rich in Etruscan finds, with tombs that are open for visits. Its central position makes it possible to reach in just a few minutes the most important centres of historical, artistic and cultural interest, such as Siena, Volterra and Florence, and the most renowned wine zone in the world: the Chianti Classico. How to reach us from Florence

• From the A1 motorway exit at Firenze Certosa.
• After the toll gate turn right towards Siena.
• Continue up to the Poggibonsi Nord exit (the fifth exit). At the roundabout, head towards San Gimignano.
• Once you reach San Gimignano, you will find yourself before the San Giovanni gate, close to a large square at your left. Follow directions to Certaldo, Gambassi. Continue for 1.7 km on the main road, then turn left (close to a cypress tree) on Via di Fugnano / Zona artigianale Fugnano.
• Continue for 400 metres; at the roundabout take the second road to the right.
• The road becomes a dirt road. Continue for about 800 metres until you see the directions for Podere Montese. Continue for another 200 metres and you will find us.

How to reach us from Pisa

• Take the FI-PI-LI (FIRENZE-LIVORNO-PISA) highway towards Florence (Firenze) and exit at Pontedera Sud (the second exit for Pontedera).
• At the roundabout follow directions for Volterra-Castelfalfi—continue towards Castelfalfi.
• Cross the village of Castelfalfi towards San Gimignano
• On the outskirts of San Gimignano, at the first roundabout, follow directions for the Zona industriale; turn right at the second roundabout. After 100 metres the paved road comes to an end. Podere Montese is 400 metres away.
